A father, a mother and their three children live in a house in the outskirts of a city. The children have never left the house. They are being educated, entertained, bored and exercised in the manner that their parents deem appropriate, without any influence from the outside world.

Η ταινία αυτή του Γιώργου Λάνθιμου έλαβε το Βραβείο "Ένα Κάποιο Βλέμμα" στο Φεστιβάλ Καννών και προτάθηκε για Όσκαρ στην κατηγορία Καλύτερης Ξενόγλωσσης Ταινίας.
