Welcome to the 5th Brisbane Greek Film Festival

The Greek Orthodox Community of Saint George - Brisbane in partnership with Palace Centro Cinemas is proud to present the 5th Greek Film Festival. The festival will run between Thursday 19th October and Sunday 22nd October at the Palace Centro Cinemas - James Street, Fortitude Valley.

Opening night will feature the 2005 Block Buster "Sirens in the Aegean" directed by Nikos Perakis. The film is a sequel to the director's original movie "Loafing and Camouflage" released in 1984. This farcical tale revolves around the impounding of a Turkish yacht by Greek sailors after its captain attempts to put a group of illegal immigrants ashore on a small Greek island.
