film ratings

All Festival films are restricted to persons aged 18 years and over [R18]. This does not necessarily relate to the content of the films, but to the censorship laws regulating festivals, as enforced by the Office of Film & Literature Classification. 

The only exception to this is the film Touch of Spice [M15+]

complimentary tickets

Palace Cinema Complimentary tickets and other complimentary passes are not acceptable for Festival screenings door sales.  We anticipate that door sales will be available for most sessions, but this cannot be guaranteed. Festival patrons are encouraged to select and purchase their session tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.

All films will commence at the advertised time - please be prompt to avoid disappointment. Doors to the cinema will open 15 minutes prior to the session time. Latecomers may not be admitted. Please note that screenings are subject to change. All seating is unreserved.

All Greek language films have English subtitles.

opening night event

The Festival will be officially opened by The Movie Show's Jaimie Leonarder and his fiancé Aspacia. Special guest will be the director of the film Tassos Boulmetis.


The evening will be hosted by Lex Marinos.
