Films must be nominated at times of purchase. Session pass tickets will
not be exchanged or refunded. The pass does not include the Opening night
or the screening of Never on Sunday.
film ratings
All Festival films are restricted to persons aged 18 years and over [R18].
This does not necessarily relate to the content of the films, but to the
censorship laws regulating festivals, as enforced by the Office of Film
& Literature Classification.
The only exception to this is the film Touch of Spice [M15+]
Complimentary Tickets
Palace Cinema passes and other complimentary passes will not be accepted
for festival screenings.
Seating/Ticketing
All seating is unreserved for all sessions with the exception of the
opening night screening of A Touch of Spice, Never On Sunday and Z.
Palace Cinema Como offers a telephone booking
service on 9827 7533. Telephone bookings can only be made on the basis of
payment by credit card when making the booking.
Tickets can also be purchased from the cinema box office with payment by
cash or by credit card. While the Film Festival anticipates that tickets
will be available at the box office for most sessions, Festival patrons
are advised to purchase tickets in advance.
Once Festival tickets are purchased they cannot be
refunded or exchanged.
Palace Movie Club members and Students require a
current membership card. A current ID card must be presented by the holder
personally in order to gain the concession.
Subtitles
All non-English films feature English subtitles.
Scheduling
All films will commence at the advertised time, unless otherwise advised.
Details in the Festival guide are accurate at the
time of printing. The Greek Film Festival reserves the right to withdraw
or change films or sessions that might result from last minute changes in
programming. For late scheduling and programme changes please check the
Greek Film Festival website at www.greekfilmfestival.com.au
Classification
The festival receives special customs and censorship clearances under
which it is forbidden to allow persons under the age of 18 years to attend
- this includes babies. This is a legal requirement of the Greek Film
Festival's obligation under office of Film Literature Classification
exemptions and absolutely no exceptions can be made for any film under any
circumstances.
'A Touch of Spice' is classified 'M' for mature
audiences.
