Spice Up Your Life at the 2004 Greek Film Festival!
Only 2 days to go till opening night!!!!!
The first night is nearly upon us and as the red carpet is cleaned and the film is loaded onto the spools things are starting to get very exciting. This year we have already broken box office records and tickets are selling like hot cakes.

With three screens already sold out for the opening film A Touch of Spice we have had to add a fourth one to squeeze everyone in to see what is undoubtedly one of the best films we have seen at the Festival.
The opening night line up is spectacular! From 6pm Tassos Boulmetis, director of A Touch of Spice will walk the red carpet at Palace Norton Street, Leichhardt and soon after that the one and only Lex Marinos will commence the evening's formal proceedings. He will be joined by Tassos and the SBS Movies Show's Jaimie Leonarder and his fiancé Aspacia to officially open the 2004 Festival. Other special guests include His Excellency Fotios-Jean Xydas, Ambassador of Greece in Australia, Mr Ioannis Raptakis, Consul General of Greece and Dr George Miller (Director of Mad Max and Babe).
After the film guests will go to the opening party at which guests will be transported straight back to Constantinople with a mouth-watering menu of 13 sumptuous dishes specially prepared by The Association of Greeks From Constantinople and Asia Minor who are proud sponsors of the festival. With music, dancing and other special surprises straight from the Politiki Kouzina it is sure to be a night to remember!
