After a spell in prison, Vangelis, a tough city-dweller, decides to kick his drug habit. He returns to his grandfather's deserted village determined to live a clean and honest life. However, his refusal to compromise with the corrupt and smug world of the new village settlement nearby places him in the role of the outsider. Vangelis's old girlfriend arrives, bringing his dangerous past with her.
