A burnt-out middle-aged rocker lives day-by-day "bumming" a couch at his former girlfriend's. He plans a big-time heist with an unlikely gang: a young romantic songwriter, an alcoholic woman, a black African stripper and his old girlfriend. The loot will take them to an island paradise. They succeed in the heist but things go wrong. The rocker takes a stand against the forces of the law.
