Eighty-eight
year-old Dimitra lives alone in a village in the Pindos mountains on the
banks of the ancient river of Acheloos, named after the river god who
fought Heraklis (Hercules) for the favours of a woman. A new dam will soon
submerge Dimitra's home. By a strange quirk of fate the materials used in
the dam are a product of the cement company called Heraklis…
