A young and beautiful woman is forced to leave her village to avoid disgracing her family. She secures a post as a maid in the home of a major in the Greek army, where she not only becomes the object of the major's illicit desire, but also of his wife and groomsman. However, the massive defeat at the Asia Minor Front in 1922 will change their lives irrevocably.
